FAQ
Can I sign my child up for more than one camp?
Yes! In fact, we encourage it. Each program is completely different, so your child can enjoy them all without repeating activities!
+Who are the Mad Science camp instructors?
Mad Science instructors tend to be former/retired teachers, entertainers, or teachers on summer break. All of our instructors have experience working with large groups of elementary-aged children and have undergone an extensive background check.
+What is the child to instructor ratio?
The child to instructor ratio varies depending on enrollment. We always have at least one instructor for every 12 students.
+Do you offer any discounts?
Typically, the only discount we offer is our Early Bird discount. You can save up to $40/week of camp! Pricing goes up to our regular rates on May 1st, so register before then to get the best price!
+What is your cancellation/refund policy?
Cancellations that are communicated more than 30 days prior to the start of the camp are subject to a full refund. Cancellations that are communicated between 8 and 30 days prior to the start of the camp will be given a refund, lens a $50 service charge. No refunds will be given for cancellations inside of 8 days prior to the start of the camp.
+My child is going into 2nd grade. Are they able to join the VPK-1st grade camp with their younger sibling?
In order to help keep siblings together, we welcome incoming 2nd graders into our VPK-1st grade camp, as long as they are with a younger sibling. This only applies to incoming 2nd graders. Any older students would have to camp separately at our 2nd-6th grade camps.
