Shake up a flask of fun in the lab and become a junior chemist!
Campers will have a blast as they make some crazy concoctions. And who doesn't love explosions!? Explore it all in this fun week of camp!
Specifically designed for our younger scientists, Mix It Up! turns curiosity into confidence. This camp is all about the magic of transformation. Little learners will explore the "how" and "why" of the world around them through bright colors, bubbling beakers, and tactile play.
We'll explore the science of chemistry, with exploding volcanoes, color changing liquids, and more! We will learn about lab gear, things that are sticky, objects that glow, and how reactions happen! Campers will have fun take-homes and make and takes that they get to take home each day!
This is the perfect introduction to the laboratory for kids who are always asking, "What happens if we mix this?" Let’s get mixing!
This Camp is open to Campers who are entering VPK, Kindergarten, and 1st grades in the fall. Campers must be at least 4 years old by Camp start date. Campers must be potty-trained and bathroom independent.
Please make sure to bring a NUT-FREE Snack and Drink each day! No food will be provided.
Our camp will provide a great mix of fun and education as we strive to create a positive, supportive learning environment where kids feel comfortable working in groups and are encouraged to learn new things.
All campers will need to sign a behavior contract before coming to camp. Any campers who are a clear danger or distraction to other children due to poor, unregulated behavior which requires more attention than can be provided without compromising the academic growth, health, or safety of other children will be dismissed from camp without a refund.
Please note that there are no refunds or credits for missed days of camp.

How to use your scholarship funds with Mad Science:
Sign up online on OUR registration site: https://cfl.madscience.org/parents-register-c.aspx
When it comes to payment on our site, select “Pay by Cash/Check”
Go into EMA and allocate $40 class voucher(s) towards Mad Science for the OCOEE Location (even if your class is held elsewhere).
If the activity is more than $40, please allocate enough vouchers to cover the full amount. We will only charge the exact amount of the activity (So if an activity is $165, please allocate 5 vouchers- we will use 4 $40 vouchers, and charge only $5 on the remaining voucher)
Email us and let us know that you will be using the scholarship for that class. (MadScienceRocks@gmail.com)
We will then connect your registration to the scholarship voucher, and you will be all set!
